We are seeking for a motivated and adaptable Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of our Climate Control Storage Systems and Handling & Grading lines across Australia and New Zealand. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in both mechanical and refrigeration systems, with hands-on experience in equipment assembly, and refrigeration systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact projects and play a vital role in supporting the success of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out mechanical installations of Tolsma's Climate Control Equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and refrigeration faults.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to resolve complex issues.
• Read, interpret, and work from cooling diagrams and schematics.
• Support the design and implementation of new systems and equipment upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records, including service logs and maintenance reports
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Travel throughout Australia and New Zealand to support regional farms and processing facilities

Personal Attributes & Skills:

• Solid Understanding of mechanical and refrigeration principles, systems and components.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and cooling diagrams
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Agricultural background is a positive
• Unrestricted work rights for both Australia and New Zealand
