Mission & vision

The Tolsma-Grisnich mission:

Improving your agribusiness in an intelligent way

Our mission is to improve the efficiency of every company that is active in the storage and processing of potatoes, onions and carrots. The in-house developed storage technology ensures conserving the product quality, by means of drying and or refrigeration, is free of any diseases and minimizing the weight loss. With processing, we make sure that, by cleaning (mechanical or with water) and optical or mechnical sorting, the products will be clean, free of any damaging and can be processed and packed in a uniform way. To make sure that all the processes are optimal and efficient, we install intelligent software and control technology that is developed by Tolsma-Grisnich.

We have a Research and Development department which continously works at improving existing products and works with other companies, research facilities and universities to develop new, innovative products. We want to develop new, intelligent information technology by collecting data from all phases in the storage and processing process and analyse this data. This enables us to improve the product quality, limit energy consumption and create management information.

We find it very import to continuously stay in touch with our customers in order to gain even more insight in their wants and needs. We do this by visiting our customers on a regular basis, with study groups and by visiting fairs, in order to stay in touch with them. Only in this way we can contribute in improving their company efficiency.

By stimulating our employees to follow courses and doing studies, we enable them to improve themselves. In this way, the customer will profit from more intelligent products and services. Our Service and Maintenance department contributes to maintaining and improving the company’s efficiency of our customers.

The Tolsma-Grisnich group is the innovatie, reliable partner that offers turnkey solutions from storage until handling agricultural products (potatoes, onions, carrots) to agricultural entrepreneurs, packing companies and processing companies (all within the walls of a building).
