Sampling & taring
Tolsma-Grisnich’s advanced systems are designed to add quality to potato, onion and carrot batches, which in turn allows customers to increase their operating efficiency. To identify the quality of a batch, Tolsma-Grisnich has developed fully automatic sampling systems for sampling products during product intake.
A plastic taring sieve, fitted between two parallel-mounted pull straps, runs through the full width of the product flow and takes a representative sample. The sample is then offloaded into a sample bin, and later into a bag or crate.
In situations where space is limited, we also have a sampling unit with sample bin. This is pushed against or under a conveyor belt, where the product flow is offloaded into the collection bin. The contents of the collection bin are then emptied into a bag or crate.
The sampling systems can be fully automated.
Tolsma-Grisnich has developed various taring systems for the processing and packaging industries. The systems are designed to efficiently maximise the yield from every batch. Within the processing line, the batch can be measured in different ways. Tolsma-Grisnich offers effective solutions that determine the final quality of a batch through the measurement of these elements. Thus, there are various dry and wet cleaning methods and we have developed graders for different processing capacities. As such, Tolsma-Grisnich always looks, together with the customer, for the best solution to achieve the highest yield.
